The National Law (NSW) outlines that registered health practitioners must advise Ahpra or the Occupational Therapy Board, within 7 days of becoming aware of a relevant event or change in their status in relation to the following events:

These are called ‘notifiable events’ under section 130 of the National Law and it’s your responsibility to tell Ahpra if they occur. You can do this by either writing to Ahpra or completing a form titled Notice of Certain Events – NOCE 00

Ahpra will refer this information to the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) and us.
