Annual renewals and financial interests declaration
Pharmacy registration renewals
Deadline
30 June. Registration remains valid for 12 months.
How to submit
When you receive an email addressed to ‘The Proprietor’ at your pharmacy email address recorded with the Pharmacy Council of NSW, follow the link provided to complete your renewal online.
Penalties
If you miss the deadline of 30 June, you have one month to pay. There is a $100 late fee if you pay during July and the renewal remains valid until 30 June the following year.
After 31 July we do not accept payments. The Pharmacy Council will revoke approval for your pharmacy premises, remove the pharmacy from the register, and notify PBS Approved Suppliers.
Annual declaration of financial Interests
Deadline
30 June
How to submit
When you receive your annual declaration notice sent to your Ahpra-registered email, you must disclose the financial interest you held in any pharmacy business over the preceding year (between 1 May and 30 April). You can complete the form through your MyServiceNSW account and pay the fee. The email address on your MyServiceNSW account must match the email registered with Ahpra to help verify your identity. The renewal process usually takes about 10 minutes.
Penalties
If you don’t submit on time the Council may make a complaint of unsatisfactory professional conduct about you. This can attract a maximum penalty of $2,200.
