Meeting your CPD obligations

Although some practitioners strongly engage in CPD and demonstrate a clear commitment to lifelong learning, others have been unable to show how they are meeting their CPD obligations. These are set out in the Board’s continuing professional development guideline.
The guideline requires practitioners to plan their CPD activities in advance each year and identify their learning objectives. On completing each activity, you must also document your learning outcomes and how these outcomes can be applied to your professional practice. You must also maintain a five-year CPD portfolio that includes each year's CPD plan, certificates for completed courses, and any practitioner-prepared reports detailing the learning outcomes from your self-directed study or other eligible activities.
