If I hold dual registration can I make a single recency-of-practice declaration?

As a person holding registration, you are required to make separate recency-of-practice declarations for each profession at the time of registration renewal.

This is to ensure competence in both professions within the preceding five years. If you are seeking to renew your registration under each profession, you must be able to demonstrate that you meet the registration standards and standards of practice/competency standards required for both professions. Carefully consider what evidence you can provide to meet the relevant registration standards and standards for practice/competency standards for each profession.

For further information please see the following Ahpra fact sheets:

Note: While these factsheets cover common examples, regardless of which registrations are held, the tenets for the purposes of recency of practice and continuing professional development requirements remain the same across all professions.
