Physiotherapy registration fees for 2026–27

Published on 2 Oct 2026

Annual registration fees for registered health professionals across Australia have now been published. In NSW, the fee for physiotherapists has been set at $200.

This is $20 lower than the fee for physiotherapists in other states and covers the period 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027.

Health practitioner registration fees fund regulatory activities that protect the public and preserve confidence in the health system.

The fee NSW practitioners pay is set differently to other states because the regulatory system is different. Here, the Physiotherapy Council works with the Health Care Complaints Commission to manage complaints.
