Chiropractic registration fees for 2026–27

Published on 2 Oct 2026

Annual registration fees for registered health professionals across Australia have now been published. In NSW, the fee for chiropractors has been set at $458.

This covers the period 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027. The fee has increased in line with CPI but is $47 lower than the fee for chiropractors in other states.

Health practitioner registration fees fund regulatory activities that protect the public and preserve confidence in the health system.

The fee NSW practitioners pay is set differently to other states because the regulatory system is different. Here, the Chiropractic Council works with the Health Care Complaints Commission to manage complaints.
