Get involved with the Council
There are different ways to contribute
There are a range of ways to get involved with our work or with any of the NSW Health Professional Councils.
Joining the Council as a member is one way, but there are many other roles critical to the work we do in protecting public safety and upholding standards.
They include sitting on Council committees and panels, conducting health and performance assessments, and making recommendations to the Council.
Council members can be health practitioners or members of the community. They serve terms of up to 3 years and can serve a maximum of 3 terms (9 years). The level and time commitment that our hearing and panel members give depends on the work required and when they are available.
The broad pool of expertise we draw from is central to delivering safe and effective health regulation in NSW.
